I'm honored...
Thanks guys...
I wasn't able to respond yesterday because I had school, this special "Texas Scholars" thing where we got to do fun stuff all day, and I went out to eat with my dad, since my mom and little brother went to Austin TX to pick up my older brother from college...
Now, today, the day after my birthday, is my high school Prom...
a wonderful birthday weekend indeed...
I'm trying to convince my parents to let me borrow their credit card number so I can actually buy stuff from the Apple Music Store :D
My mom doesn't want me to get a checking account or credit card until I have my permanent address in the dorms at college... bummer... Maybe I can talk her out of it
Anyways, thanks guys!

well, in my family, you don't really recieve gifts anymore, since we don't really know what each other wants, but I got some cash :D
I also got a Targus Cool Pad for my 12" PowerBook from my dad, since he noticed that it gets a bit hot sometimes.
I also got dinner out on Thursday and Friday...

you lucky biznatch! My family despises
giving cash, and like your family, nobody
knows what the other wants, so I end up
getting turquoise turtle-necks and the like.
I managed, after hours of persuation, to
get my mom to buy me nothing and to
give me $300. :D I am suprised that I am
worth that much to her. Well, I can only
use it under strict guidelines, but thats OK..

And what may I ask are those strick guidelines? Oh the troubles of still being a young man but not a grownup!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
my parents usually give into my older brother (16) and my younger brother (10) for everything, so if you are the oldest or the youngest, you will be able to convince her for a credit card or checking account.:D:D
Yet again, happy birthday.

happy birthday :) a bit of b-day advice: don't get a credit card until after college unless you're *very* responsible, i've seen a lot of people (myself included) ruin their credit that way... but on the other hand if you're careful and smart you can have really good credit by the time you graduate :)

I can spend it on
a) a computer
b) a monitor
anything else is a no go. But it's all cool bc
all I want right now is a computer, a
monitor, and Ramen Noodles. :D

I always recommend everyone goes on a week long drug binge just before their 18th... you'll never be able to do that again :D
