I'm looking to get System 7.6 on floppies for my PowerBook Duo 210. It's currently running 7.1, and I'd like to get it updated to 7.6.1. Don't wanna spend a lot, either, as this is more of a side-project than a main machine.
Let me know what you've got, thanks!

I don't know if they have it or not.. but worth sifting through.

I checked, but they don't have it. I think System 7.6 and on is still not being offered for free by Apple. 7.5.3 is, but past that, I think they don't own all the right to it or something, so they can't offer it up.

I live in the Chicago suburbs, and have like 4 Duos and a ton of docks, accessories, software, and work on Duos all day long (I wrote most of the Wikipedia article on Duos). If you're interested, I can perform whatever upgrades you need. PM me if you're interested...
EDIT: Continuing my previous thought, I think I even have the carcass of an older Duo Dock (the one that doesn't work with color duos) that I don't need anymore. Could probably piece that back together and give to you along with a display of some sort (I have too many beige Apple displays I need to get rid of). That will allow you to put your Duo on your network and share files with whatever Mac you use mainly. Of course, only if you're interested...

Actually, I just PM'd you, and mentioned I was looking for a Dock for it! I'm thinking of getting a Duo Dock II or +, though, since those can handle ethernet and color output.

The original Dock gives you color output, even if you have a B&W duo. Networking can then be added via NuBus card (I have those lying around too). I'll have to make sure this old dock is still working (I replaced it with a min condition Dock Plus in original box for my 2300c).

Dang, fancy. I did not know that. We only had one of the little MiniDock's. I was looking to hook it up to this CRT I have that I never use, though, so the regular dock'd be nice.
