I have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse set that I wanna use with my PS3. It has a USB and a PS2 connector on the reciever where you charge the mouse so I plugged the USB into the PS3 .

the keyboard works fine but my mouse doesn't. It is turned on but I have had to plug in a wired mouse to use with Linux and the PS3 browser.

Any reason why this doesn't work? I'm thinking maybe because the PS2 (or whatever that mouse connector is called) needs to be plugged in. I need a new set anyway so I might buy a new kb/mouse and see if a newer set will work better.

My Kensington mouse worked fine browsing the PlayStation Store… hmm.

Well your mind is made up so go out and get a KB/Mouse. The KB/Mouse used by my friend's house seem to work just fine:)

Logitech just announced a wireless keyboard for PS3....
I believe it will be bluetooth with a scroll pad(so you won't need a mouse)
This is for those that want to sit far away from their tv/monitor when using a keyboard.

Wait just a little bit before you go out and get one.
