who else has xport for transfering xbox 360 save games?

So i just bought the Xport from Datel so I can transfer my save games from my hard drive on the 360 to the pc but when I plug the hdd into the little xport thing and open the software - it keeps freezing?...

has anyone had any issues with this before or has it all be success stories? :(
