I'm trying to find some info for a friend. She has tried to download and compile a piece of freeware, but has recieved the error message "Could not link to Fortran Compiler" (or something similar to that). Does anyone here know about the Fortran compiler in OS X (g77 perhaps?), and how to access it?
Thanks.

g77 is available - you need to install fink. Get it at http://fink.sf.net
Once installed, type: fink install g77
