Can't activate console in Call Of Duty 2

I can't activate console in Call Of Duty 2 by pressing the "~" key,
i have enabled the console in Game Options.
Any help ?

Try Shift + ~. The ~ key by itself will just open the input line for the cosole, but if you want to read the contents of the console you have to hold down Shift then hit the ~ key.

Found it, the key to the left of Z, i use the SWE layout.
