I have two LaCie external hard drive enclosures designed by FA-Porsche. I decided to take the hard drive out of them and now have no use for the enclosures. There are minor scuff marks underneath from my prying open the case to get to the hard drive. You can't see them at all though if it's sitting flat. This is the exact model where the enclosure is from - http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10764

Comes with enclosure, screws to secure hard drive, power adapter, and usb cable.

I'm asking $25/each plus shipping.

If it doesn't sell here within a day, I will be putting it up on ebay.

1) Do the enclosures have any big, glowing lights, or are the indicator lights small and subdued?

2) Do you have any pictures that show the scuffing?

3) What types of drive do the enclosures accept?

Very interested in one. What type of drive does it take? SATA?

Thanks for the interest. To answer your questions

1) No big glowing lights or anything. Just one very small on on the front. Glows orange, if i remember correctly, and not too bright either.

2) I will take some pics of the bottom and post them in a little bit.

3) These enclosures take IDE drives.

Here's a couple of pics of the bottom. Because of the flash, the scuff marks are actually a lot worse they they really are. But like I mentioned before, you don't even see them when it's right side up.

Hi,
Wondered if you could ship the case to the UK as I reckon I've damaged the circuitry (but not the drive) when my gf decided to force the firewire lead in the wrong way round! If I can find another enclosure, I hope to swap the drives over.
If not, or already sold, can you give me any tips on opening the case as I am cautious about damaging the thing.
Hope you can help.
