I bought a set of Apple MacBook Pro 15" Full Body Shield a few weeks ago but never installed it.
Last week I have just exchange my MBP to a MB cause I couldnt live with the grainy LCD displays anymore so here it is up for sale, the complete full body set of Invisible Shield for MBP 15"

For anyone on the fence, these products are great. I have them on my DS Lite, KRZR, and iPod nano. All look good as new.

i would think it wont increase the heat... because it doesn't cover the major heat ventilation areas

Just seems like it would act like a blanket over the aluminum. Aluminum dissipates the heat, but I'm wondering if the plastic would hinder the dissipation.

It would have a minimal effect on temperatures. Blankets and other insulators work by trapping air. Since these create a non-permanent seal with the aluminum and do not trap and air, they will not create a layer of insulation. Its why when you go ouitside in winter lots of layers are a good thing. The more layers of treapped air the better you are.
