View Full Version : Setup Internet Sharing for wii... quick question

I don't like the idea of having my firewall down when using my wii online (only use it briefly though). Is anyone aware of what ports need to be open to allow the Wii to get online?

None. I've had no problems with WiiConnect24 and the OS X Firewall and I opened no special ports. As for if online games are going to have problems connecting, I have no idea. But there's no problems with any of the internet features so far (VC store, weather, Opera).

I'll check it out and see if it works. I did it for the VC store... big mistake ended up buying a thousand points.
