WTB (Feeler): Palm Treo (or other smartphone) for Verizon Wireless

This is just a feeler, but I would like to see if I can get a Palm Treo (or another smartphone) for Verizon Wireless.

I do not want a BlackBerry, because I don't want a data plan.

I have never really tried a smart phone, and I think I might end up using some of the calendar functions and stuff, so I want to give it a try. Some of the newer Treos go for pretty good prices on eBay, but I figured I would check here to see what people have.

I don't really care about the condition of the phone, as long as it works.

I have a 650 I'm selling--looking to move into a 700p. May I ask: why do you want a treo but no data package? Don't get me wrong. I'm a serious fan of the item. But it does seemt that one might get the non-data functions in a considerably less expensive (not to mention smaller) phone. Then again, I don't know that much about what's out there.
