Ok, sorry for saying "magical", but it got you to look at the thread didnt it?
Then again, I think computers ARE magic, so any upgrade can be magical!?
Anyway....
Finally selling my baby, my one and only, my G5.
Here are the basic specs:
Dual 1.8Ghz G5
2.5GB RAM (8 slots NOT the crippled 4 slot)
Radeon 9800SE 128MB (with upgraded fan! only 1 and a half other cards are available for this computer that beat this card)
two 160GB SATA drives (one for system/apps other for scratch/downloads, perfect setup)
Superdrive
M-Audio Revolution 7.1 PCI-X card (good for outputting analog/digital audio)
This model has "three open full-length PCI-X slots: one 133MHz, 64-bit slot and two 100MHz, 64-bit slots", an 8X AGP Pro slot
OSX 10.4.8 (original discs are, 10.2.7 i believe but will have 10.4 installed as well as 9.2.2 Classic)
It comes in the original box. With all the included things like manuals, CDs, wires, keyboard, mouse etc etc. Even that fancy cardboard insert/cover thing inside the box! The keyboard is newer as I spilled water on the original one, but its still the clear/white Apple keyboard.
Ive been the only owner. I replaced the 2 sets of internal fans with a newer G5's just because I could, I mean why not? So the fans are at least 2 years younger. If that even matters to anyone.
Open to any and all questions, can post pics of inside/outside etc on request.
