Like the title asks, are there any mmo's for the Mac besides WoW? I'm playing WoW but it's already getting old.

I was going to say GuildWars... but its not... still a great game, tho.

Guild Wars is horrid. I've been through more dead and inactive guilds than I can count.

That game has limited content, every 6 months you buy an expansion pack and get more of the (exactly same) game dynamic, and there is virtually no end game to it.

That franchise is finished at this rate, I wouldn't bother.

I'm not awear of any other big name MMO's for the Mac worth playing. EverQuest was finally released for Mac, but you played on Mac only servers so you could never play with PC users. Other than that, you could try the free MMO "PlaneShift," but it is in an early alpha state.

I use VMWare and play Ultima Online on my mac at times. I've played UO since 1998 and its grown to be quite the awesome MMO. Its far more free and has more choices and options than any MMO on the market. It's also free of the level grinding questing that WoW got me so sick of. Any aspect of UO is very detailed and there are literally thousands of different ways to do things. Player owned, designed, and decorated homes is a really fun thing to have too.

This year they are releasing a new update 3D client, it looks like it will be awesome. Truth be told i keep a PC around to play usually, but at times i play from my mac :)

Then I would say your an inactive player. Theres so much more to do than just level up your character. Its about skill and skill combination.

I guess you havent played Nightfall... :rolleyes:
