I'm thinking of selling my Macbook and moving back up to a Macbook pro now that the issues with it are fixed.

My Macbook is

White
2GHz CD
2GB RAM
80GB Hard Drive
w/ Mini-DVI to DVI converter

Comes with all boxes

only about 6 months old.

What sort of price should i be asking for considering the current model is about €1500 for the spec?

I'm thinking about €1,200.

If that's a good price are there any takers? :)

(Realistically this would be ireland only, depending on where the person lived i'd deliver it personally)

I know someone who might well be interested - the only snag is, they want a Mac laptop for video editing, as a non-video editor I've no idea how Final Cut Pro works on a MacBook (does anyone know if it requires a GPU?).

I did a search there and turned up this (http://creativemac.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=43717) and this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=207297&highlight=macbook+final+cut+pro). Seems it runs fine but motion is pretty slow, but from what i read people don't use motion anyway.

If you need to ask then it's gonna cost a lot to ship it :)

Another Paddy here.

Unfortunately I'm not in the market though.

I was selling a PowerBook a while back and got a few enquiries through adverts.ie (ultimately I sold it through a contact here on MacRumors though)

You're nick reminds me of a guy from dublin i know. Although he had a PC before (which i kindly travelled to dublin to build in exchange for a bed for the night and a good night out) and i don't remember him going mac.

Although he was younger.
