I was reading macformat today (UK edition) and read that 128k Macs were worth at least £4,000.00 if in good condition. I was wondering if this is true.
The reason I ask is because I work in an IT department and am known as the mac freak. As a result whenever I find out interesting little facts about macs I let my heathen colleagues know about it.
So I was having a conversation with one of these guys and it went something like this:
me - I was just reading about Mac 128k's and....
him [interupting] - I have a few of those.
me - what? Are they in good condition?
him - well one's pretty knackered, but the other two are like knew. I bought them for spare parts. I love mucking around with them but haven't done anything with them yet.
me - blah blah blah.... they're supposedly worth £4,000.00 if in good condition.
him - really. *****, I'll have to look into that.
me - I'll give you £20.00 for them
him - (well you can guess)..
