Which is the better HD companion the 360 or PS3. Criteria 1080i HD TV, HDMI. If you could only have one which would it be based just on HD, not games.

Well you just eliminated the 360 with your criteria. 360 doesnt have HDMI, and it won't unless M$ does a revision.

All around it would be the PS3, good for HD games and includes a HD Blu-Ray player.

Actually's he's eliminated both consoles.

As your criteria is 1080i and the PS3 has upscaling issues (in the sense that it doesnt) and I dont think any PS3 games are 1080i, and nearly ALL 360 titles offer full 1080i native support, it has to go 360 but that doesnt have HDMi.

There's only one system with HDMI...

I'd still choose 360, as Connect 360 is nice. But you'd have to connect it via VGA for full benefits.

I kinda have to agree with you here, then again the op's previous threads have a less than stellar rating too.

MRU, my PS3 does 1080p/1080i/720p for games just fine :)
