I'll get my hands on a firewire DVD drive and a test hard drive to hook up at the weekend so I can do a test install of OS X.

D'oh, remapped the ports on the router, all should be good again.

Ok, I hooked up an external DVD Drive and a temporary hard drive and it booted fine and installed OS X without a hitch. I also ran XBench a couple of times to stress the system and there were no hiccups at all.
