How do I launch OpenOffice?

I have installed X11 and OpenOffice as well as a few launchers for the OO applications. When i try to launch OO X11 loads and I get an empty window that looks and acts like the Terminal. I have moved the OO folder to the location it was originally installed in and the situation is the same. Can anyone point out what I am doing wrong so far?

Did the job for me.
You can also manually open it in the X11 terminal. You'll have to browse through the apps though....
Something like: open -a </Applications/OpenOffce/Program/....>
