WTB: Nintendo Wii - Birthday Present!

My birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and I decided I really want a Wii. The problem is, I can't find one anywhere.

I'm looking to purchase one for retail price or as close as possible. Someone please hook me up with an awesome birthday gift!

Your best bet is to keep track of sites like xpBargain's Wii locator (http://www.xpbargains.com/wii_locator.php). They have an RSS feed that you can subscribe to as well... I was lucky enough to catch a Wii in stock this past Friday at Sears using that site.

Just FYI... Gamestop (http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=B020070J) has a package available for pre-order now... $570 gets you an extra wiimote/nunchuck, memory card and 4 games (Twilight Princess, Call of Duty 3, Trauma Center, and Ultimate Alliance). $250 for the base wii package, $50 for the extra wiimote/nuchuck, $40-50 for the memory card, $200 or so for the four games. These pre-orders seemed to sell out after a few days online in the past... but at least that's an option for you.

If there's games there that you don't feel like keeping, I believe that you can return them unopened to Gamestop for a full refund... but I could be wrong, I've read varying degrees of success depending on the merchant. You could also sell them here.

Snagged one at EB Games yesterday. Been calling everywhere all week and they randomly got them in yesterday. Had 1 left and I grabbed it.
