How much would an older version of Final Cut Studio run me here or other places?
Just curious.

What OS would this work on? I teach video production, and one of my older mac's is in need of Final Cut. I'm not sure of the exact OS on it off the top of my head though.

I guess I should clarify. I want to buy not sell... ;)

I have a pre-Universal Binary version that I could sell for $700...seems to be the going rate. Comes with all the manuals, etc. You can upgrade to the Universal version for $50 if you want as well.

Neat - they extended the crossgrade program (http://www.apple.com/universal/crossgrade/)! At the moment the deadline is March 19, 2007. Previously it was December 20, 2006.

The best deal is to find a copy or upgrade copy of STP, Motion 2 or DVD SP 4 and do the $199 cross-grade. Good luck though as they went real fast when Apple announced it last year.
