I think I am going to sell my MBP (I just got it in mid December) and get a 24" iMac. Apple is giving me a Black MB (dont ask... :p ) for free, and it is pointless to have two portables.
I was hoping to get around $2000... is that reasonable?
The machine is in excellent shape. It is always either inside of a case inside of a case [sic] or siting on my desk with a suede-like cover.
Comes with an incase neoprene sleeve and a RadTech suede-like screen protector. Oh yeah, I have all the boxes and accessories too! :D

that sounds reasonable. that was the going price for the ones on macnn recently. is yours the 256mb vram model or the 128mb vram model? (i'm not interested, but to others, it is important.)

Given that a refurb 2.16 goes for $1599, I think $2000 is kind of high. Maybe $1700 or so.

No, this is a C2D, not Core Duo...which aren't going that low. Keep in mind it's an upgraded 200 gb hard drive too. Although it's only 128 mb vram, if you have 2 gb of memory I can see it fetching $1900ish...

The C2D refurb 2.16 is indeed $1599. I think $1700 is resonable, i don't think $1900 is gonna happen. If you have 2GB you could push a little more though.

Yes, the C2D MBP 2.16's (when available) go for $1599 on the Apple Refurb store. The OP never mentioned the installed RAM, so I would assume the stock 1GB. The C2D MBP 2.33's go for $1999.

Hi
I can get the same setup -- When available -- for ~$1,925 including taxes. So, I'd say no more than $1,850 would make it a perfect deal for anyone. You may be able to get your $2k but definitely push hard while there are no refurbs available.
To help potential buyers, is this glossy or matte finish?

Matte.
Also, I have 2GB of RAM, but am keeping one for the iMac. ;)
