Hey, I teach a Communications (Video editing) class at a high school and recently I was donated a couple older G4 macs. They're probably about 3 - 4 years old and only have a few gigs free. Being that we edit video, I'm looking for a cheap firewire external HD (even 30 gigs is fine) that can be used to store/edit video from.
I bought a couple cheap Western Digital My Books, but the USB port is just too slow to edit from. My mistake, but I suppose I can still use them for archival purposes.
Also, I'm interested in getting rid of some of our old huge CRT monitors and getting some decent 17"+ LCD monitors if anyone has any for sale.
Feel free to post here or just PM me.
Thanks!
