OK, my wife is finally really actually going to upgrade her 1st gen iPod for a new pink nano. So, it's for sale. The iPod itself is in good shape, physically, and works well. It could use a new battery, but the original one still holds several hours worth of charge (she uses it on and off throughout the day at work and charges it up each evening - I'm charging it today and doing a timed test tomorrow). Everything works as you'd expect on it.
Extras include: the box/original manuals (this is the Jimmy Hendrix box), a pink glow in the dark iSkin, car charger, original headphones, and the original FW cable and AC adapter, of course.
I'm not sure how much this is worth. On one hand, as a functional iPod it's not all that great... it works, but there's better out there. On the other, it's just starting to become "collectible" (as it is in good, original condition with the box, etc). I see these on eBay going for $100+ in no better shape than hers. So, I'm asking for offers for now.
Here's some pics of the iPod, no case, at an angle to help show the low amount of scratching (it's not perfect, but good) and also what I consider to be the best packaging Apple ever did (as mentioned, the original CDs, manuals, etc are in there inside their little Apple folder). I'll take some more of the iPod in case and accessories shortly. Thanks for looking!
