I'm looking to buy a .Mac activation code to renew my account. I'm in the UK, but that's of little consequence.

have you tried ebay ? I got mine (a family pack one) for €70 a couple of months back.

Thought I'd point out that I'd been looking for a decently priced (~$50) for sometime, but eventually gave up. If you are persistent something will probably show up on ebay. I only really needed .mac to sync ical. If that's all you need, iSynCal is a much better option.
