I dont know what happened, but yesterday my ipod became non-responsive. Ive had this thing for about 4yrs and never had a single problem with it. Lately I had used it mostly as a portable hdd.

Yesterday I put some files on it, unplugged it, plugged it into another mac that isnt currently online or on my network, and nothing. Wont mount, wont charge. The reset direction dont work. Just seems dead.

Id never replaced the battery, never even opened the thing until yesterday. I thought maybe if I opened it, unplugged the battery, and plugged it back in it may come back to life. Did this with a cellphone once and it worked. But no.

Anyway, whats it worth to you? Would be interested in trading for well, just about anything I guess. Old x360 games maybe?

Pics were taken a while ago when I was thinking about selling it.

Im bumping this to ask a question. Does anyone know it there is any kind of adapter/case I can buy to use the hdd out of this ipod as a portable drive? Id really like to use this as a portable firewire drive if thats possible assuming the drive is still good.
