Okay, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this information, but I figured people in the marketplace may be interested. Here is a wireless router that is on sale. Normally $40 at buy.com but now it's $20 with a mail-in rebate. Brand new and free shipping. I have one at my house and it works great. Hope this helps some people.

i think it's not a bad thing to post deals... but perhaps don't put FS: in your title, that's kinda misleading

for instance... put GOOD DEAL: in the place of FS:

any mods?

I'd just like to add that I had two of these (both purchased when they first came out, almost three years ago now I think, so they may have been early revisions) and the wireless part of them died. On both of them. Well, on one it totally died, and on the other it would only work if WEP/WPA/MAC address filter/all forms of security were turned off. My buddy had the same one and the same thing happened to him.

Just a warning...because of that and other experiences, I personally don't trust Netgear wireless gear. I had a couple of their USB wireless adapters too and those had the worst reception of anything I'd ever seen. They could barely get a signal 30 feet away from the router with no obstruction other than a wood door. Netgear wired-only stuff has held up great for me though.

FWIW, i had this router, and it crapped out after 6 months of use. not just the wireless part went, but the whole router. there really wasn't a reason why, and nothing could bring it back.

i'm not saying that this router won't work for other people...it just didn't work for me and netgear support was less than helpful.
