Rainbow Six. It's quite the game, it's not as novelty or makes you think "here we go again" like GoW.

I would highly recommend Call of Duty 3. The single player and multiplayer are both excellent.

Gears of War...it makes me want to buy an Xbox 360, and its one of the few game I'd buy(partly due to me not have much $$ to spend on games currently, and partly on there not being much else I'd want)

Anyways, i have played GOW and it was amazing graphically but i found nothing groundbreaking anywhere else in the game I have heard that Rainbow Six is better (haven't played it yet, hope to get a 360 soon).

It sounds odd...I prefer playing R6 over the live with a group...I prefer GOW in the living room with a friend live. I'd pick based on which of those two are more important. R6 really shines with groups...GOW is easier for single and double enjoyment....to me. I actually own both too ;)

Rainbow 6, It's just so much more tactical. Not all out violent.

Off topic but: I'm stuck in R6, know the part where you are at the DAM and you get jung to do some computer hacking then you fend off against waves of terrorists, I always get told that I ran out of time to defuse or whatever :( ANy tips!?

I love R6: vegas and the single player is good but the online mutiplayer can get to you sometimes...it shudders and skips like crazy but if you think you can take that then R6 it is.

Damn it that machine gun sound is annoying..

I'd rather see them work on a giant game than numerous 7-9 hour games. I spent 12 hours beating Metroid Fusion on the GBA :eek:

I completed Rainbow Six very fast. Great game though and I never got to try it with Xbox Live, which I imagine may be quite cool.

Right now I'm playing Call of Duty 3 and it's incredible. I love the online multiplayer it's awesome BUT Call of Duty 3 often freezes up. I have checked several forums and it's not just me. Seems to be a regular thing with many people. Very frustrating. It took my an hour to get a game going on xbox live as it kept freezing, however there have been times that I've jumped right on.
