I'm interested in the SlingBox AV. I'll check to see if it works with my digital cable box.

Edit: It looks like it will. All this time I thought I was limited to just coaxial output. I have composite at least. :rolleyes:

I just need to find a way to link it to my DSL modem, switch, and router upstairs now. :(

So hey, on that Slingbox... I plan on moving out this fall to attend college. They offer basic cable, but my entire life I've been spoiled with Satellite. If my mom continues to keep our Satellite programming, can I hook the Slingbox up here, at my house, and control my set-top Dish receiver from my dorm?

I can turn it on, and everything?

I know they do, but I wasn't using it and I thought I would contribute something back to this wonderful site, and it's users.

Don't ever say Ronni3 never gave back to this site. I could have easily put this on Ebay and gone for the money.

Keep me posted Eldorian.It's a bit complicated since I need more upstream bandwidth for many internet applications. I don't think I should choke up the DSL that I share with my roommates.

If it was the coax only model (I know coax "sucks"), I'd jump on it. The apartment is wired for coax but only the living room has the cable box with composite out. It'd be a pain buying additional hardware just to get the the stream out.

Any word on the Classic Vs. the newer Tuner version? Other then the size which is immaterial to me. It looks like the Classic has more inputs.
