Hey, in your pile of iBook parts, does the LCD happen to be a samsung model LTN121X1-L02? Thanks

Does the iBook battery just not have a charge currently or does it not hold a charge at all?

Yeah, you need to take apart the LCD to get at it, but evidently it is not very difficult. After that there will be a white sticker on the LCD that tells you what model it is. I hate to ask but I specifically need that serial number for a project I'm doing. Here is what I found online about taking it apart:

"I started to take apart my iBook’s screen. I began by unscrewing the four screws on the side of the screen (two on each side), then I gently pryed off the rear display case. Taking apart the screen was fairly easy but the front display bezel was a bit tougher since the bezel is fairly flimsy. "

It's on the back of the LCD so you don't have to take off the bezel

I have a 20" BenQ monitor that was used for about a week. It has 1680x1050 resolution and both vga and dvi ports. Let me know if you are interested.

Sorry about that, i was extremely busy for the past weeks, and with my powerbook out of commission for a few more days, I havent had much time. But, enough of my excuses. Erick Lewis, for all the dreamcast stuff, (including the racing wheel/ pedals), im thinking 230 shipped? OBO! :) My reasoning... 3 games that cost ~20 bucks on ebay, the system ~40, 2 good controllers ~20 + a kinda messed freebie, 12 other good games @ 4$ apice avg ~50, 6 VMUS (memory cards) @ 5$ avg ~ 30, and the wheel ~ 20$... + shipping ~20.
Maxwell Smart, I took of the outer casing, but there seems to be a heat shield or something, and there is no white sticker to be found w/ sn. so, unless i can find out where the SN is...?
and magid, what price were you thinking on that? im interested in a 22 incher on Newegg, but if i can get a great deal on here, i would prefer that.
... Oh, and i updated w/ prices and new stuff! :)

The sticker seems to be near the top, thanks

got it! ahhh, the wonders of random screws... anyways, yes it is the exact model that you seem to be looking for. i'm almost sort of weary to let it go, seeing that my ibook would then be a very incomplete unit... but, how much is it worth to you?
