how does world of warcraft run on a macbook core 2 duo 2ghz 1 gig of ram?

Try the forum search to find many, many more posts on WoW on the MacBook. Basically, it's playable, I have a few friends who do it, but it's not going to blow you away.

I played it on my 1.33 g/htz PB w/ 1.25 gig ram, and it was decent. I had trouble in the cities with framrates and all that good stuff.

Works great on my wife's machine. WOW will run on almost any machine really.. just may have to nerf some settings, but she has hers all turned up :)
