1)It has always been the responsibility of the bidder to pay promptly in cash or guaranteed funds. The purpose of an auction is generally to liquidate assets to cash as quickly as possible and the use of any escrow service only serves to complicate this process. If we wanted to wait to get our money we would not be using the auction process....
3)Lastly, Ebay already provides you with the opportunity to read feedback about previous transactions and also has an insurance policy to protect bidders from outright fraud. There is a small deductable but this is designed to protect the sellers in large dollar transactions!

The bidder is already getting a great deal.

The guy makes some good points, but dealing with an already angry seller and one who believes that the majority of the risk should be the buyers, that escrow is pointless, and that your blessed even to see their goods is risky and annoying at best.

Search Powermax.com (http://www.powermax.com/) for used.

I like Amazon auctions, but's that is because I have never had any problems there.

I have an iMac G3/400 with 640 RAM and a 12 GB HD. Has internal DVD-ROM. Very good condition.
