How long does a DS last in sleep?

I've never really used the sleep function much because I thought it would kill the battery. But does it? How long can it last for?

I have no idea. But if I were to guess, maybe 1-3% of battery each day. :)

I had mine die once in sleep mode. This was after about 2 or 3 weeks of not playing my DS. Prior to sleeping it at that time, I had been playing it, so the battery wasn't on a full charge. The only reason this happened, is because I got completely swamped with work.

I always leave my DS on though. The sleep option is great for my workflow.

My battery is showing its age though. It used to last me a week or 2 on one charge. Now I need to charge it every other day.
