Hey all,

Selling an EyeTV Hybrid I recently acquired. All accessories and original box come along with it of course...practically new except for an opened box. I only watch like 3 tv shows...and I can get them on iTunes if I miss them. So I simply don't need this. PM me or email me at moviecutter )atnospam) mac.com, and don't ask me to post pics. I've been on this forum long enough and you all know what the thing looks like. Will take trades for iPod nanos.

I'm definitely interested, but a couple of questions. I plan on running this off of my Macbook Pro, 2.16 ghz/2 gb/160 gb with maybe an external hard drive for recording shows. Also, I currently have an HD box from Comcast in which I get HD signals...does this connect from the box or can I run it independently from a regular analog cable that has regular cable TV on it (where the EyeTV would convert it to HD?)

I don't really know how to work this with my setup (considering I already have an HD box; which I would love to get rid of for the price I pay per month). I'm just wondering if it works this way?

It won't take HD signals from your box as far as I know. I have an external antenna (rabbit ears) attached to it for over the air HD for the big networks (NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, PBS) and run a standard cable to take my standard definition cable. I've been running it off a MacBook into a projector.

Does this have the breakout cable with it?
