I am new to iDVD and iMovie so please give me instructions a newbie can understand. I was making a DVD combining the movies "Clerks" and "Clerks II." However, in the attempt, the two 600 megabyte videos combined turned up as 35 GIGABYTES in the Finder. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this?

They may have just been 600 meg files, but they are both about 90 minutre movies. When you combined them in iMovie it transcoded them into the DV codec which is about 12/13 gigs per hour.

When it comes to transcodeing video the file size isn't important. It's the length of the movie that counts. The max length of time iDVD can burn is 2hrs. So you'll have to find another way to get both movies on one DVD.

Sorry, but there's clearly no way those are legal copies, and so we can't give you advice on making an equally illegal combined version.
