View Full Version : WTB: up to 3x 512MB PC100 or PC133 SDRAM DIMMS

I need to make a Sawtooth G4 live as long as possible, and it seems that a 9800 Pro Mac Edition is the way to go in the graphics department. Unfortunately, I can't find anyone selling one quickly (MacMall et al. have 4 week+ shipping times). Does anyone have one they'd be willing to sell?

Note that I need the 2x/4x version of the card, not the 4x/8x or "G5 Edition" version.

EDIT2: since I need more parts, and I don't want to clutter up the forum, I've changed the topic. So if anyone has one or a few they'd be willing to part with, let me know.

I just bought a used one off eBay, but I'm having 2nd thoughts now. I got it to play games with, but I really don't use it enough. It's been in use for about 1 week now. Clean, great condition. I think they are selling for about $250 new? You can have it for $210 shipped.

*EDIT* - Wow, I just checked eBay and they can be had for even lower. There were some 'Buy-it-Nows' for $170.

Yeah I've been trying eBay off and on for a while, and either they don't have them or I'm getting sniped. Right now they have more than I've ever seen before. I've got one bid on eBay for the soonest-ending one, but I can't watch it constantly.

Darn I have a 9800 for sale too. I'll look for some RAM for ya. Check this thread. I will be updating it shortly with what I have around.

What are you looking to get for the 9800? My sawtooth would probably like that one. Does it do core image?

PM me a fair offer. It is already fixed to work in 2x-4x, was used for a month and then I sold my Dual. Amazing card. Also......... yes it does support core image. :)
