Well, I finally moved all my files and drives over to my PC, so I can sell off my Sawtooth. I even got a real case for it! I've put it up on eBay for now, you can see it here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220096338445
Specs:
500Mhz G4 "Sawtooth"
15GB Hard Drive
384MB RAM (128 + 256)
ATI Rage 128 16MB
CD-ROM
I used this for a while with the Sonnet Tempo I'm also auctioning off, and ran 5 hard drives and the CD-ROM off of the standard PSU. Made a great file server!
Only issues are:
1) It doesn't have the front covers or drive cage. The ATA cables are all there, so you can hook up a CD-ROM or whatever, but there's no way to mount it securely. You can buy a cage for like $5 on eBay, though
2) There's no internal fan. Case didn't come with one, and it didn't really need one, so I don't think it's a big deal unless you're running a buttload of drives in there. Then you probably need a more comprehensive cooling solution than the stock fan anyways.

Hey, this didn't sell initially, so it's back up for only $39.99! Hilariously affordable!

Nice, but if the cage is missing, how do you house the CD-ROM drive then? And no bezels either?

Well, I had a hard drive underneath it, so the drive just sat on that. I'm sure if you put in a floppy drive or zip drive, it would rest on there fine. The cables are all there for it, just not the cage.

Nice, so can this tower be setup to take two optical drives then?

It would probably take some dremel work, as it's got those tabs on the front where the zip drive goes:

What type of RAM does the tower use... I presume regular PC100/133 SODIMM chips?

Yup! There's a lot of good info about it here:

Nice I am considering a bid :) hopefully if i can win it at the listed price that would be ideal (considering that I would want to spend at most $50-75 for the machine on my budget :)

wow, if you could adjust the shipping overage I might be interested (ups shows $25 to my location (SC) but your auction shows $50)..........

Unfortunately, it won't let me change it now. It's showing me $35 shipped via parcel post, kinda wish I had checked that before I posted. I based the shipping on what similar auctions were doing at the time, though I shoulda figured USPS would be cheaper.

Yes it can with a little dremelling (is that even a word?). I saw an article on a modding website about it once, but i can't put my finger on it. Basically if you cut out some of the metal you can rest two drives in there (the IDE cables are in exactly the right spots). But to securely attach everything you need to jerry rig some braces.

its okay, if I win the ebay auction, I'll pay the $39.99 plus $50 shipping. It seems a little steep compared to what I've payed for shipping towers before. There's nothing in ebay's policy that says you can't refund the buyer the extra they payed beyond the actual cost of shipping! But anyway, I've got the bid down on the Sawtooth.
Also, if you are in Chicago, I might be able to do local pickup if you'd waive or refund the shipping. I'm spending some time in Milwaukee soon, and Chicago isn't that far away from there. I guess we'll wait and see what happens on ebay in the next few days though.

Yeah, sorry, I was out of town for the weekend and had no internet access.
The PowerMac sold, though, and I'm sad to see it go, though glad to have the space back! Thanks to all who bid or gave me tips!

To whoever buys this, I have a few of these cages lying around for the drives, and possibly some bezels.
Will have to look.
