I'd like to get one of the newer recording add-ons for the 5G iPods that allow for 16-bit/44.1mhz stereo recording. I know Griffin and Belkin both make one that retail for $40-50 new. Not sure who, if anyone, else makes a similar unit, but I'm not to brand picky.
Must have a mic input, must be able to record the CD quality audio on the 5G, and having a USB or dock pass through to attach a battery pack and extend record time would be a huge plus.
I'd also like to get a set of small, pre-amped, binaural mics. I can make a pair for about $20-30, but I'd be willing to pay a bit more to save the time.
Thanks!
