View Full Version : Feeler: Bluetooth mighty mouse

like-new condition, only used about a month. Really looks and works like brand new. I decided to go with a corded mouse with more buttons, but there's nothing wrong with the mighty mouse. Comes in original box with all the paperwork, etc. etc. Even the batteries that came with it still show 5 out of 5 in the bluetooth preference pane.

If there's not enough interest I guess I'll just hold on to it, but let's see if anyone wants it. Retails for $70 + tax - anyone want it at $50 shipped?

Since you've posted this as a Feeler, I'll post this and hope it's not taken as threadcrapping.

A BT Mighty Mouse sells for $49 on Apple's Refurb store. You generally see these go for about $35-40 here on the Marketplace.

You post it for $40 shipped and it'll be gone by the morning.

oh, I didn't realize they were even in the refurb store. that's not threadcrapping at all; I appreciate the information.

That said, if $35 or $40 is all I can get for it, I may just keep it. It would hurt to take a 50% hit on something that's pretty much brand new.

Still happy to listen to offers though.

I'll take it for $35 shipped right now via Paypal or trade you for a Silver Macally Mouse, $50 retail.

Let me know if this is of interest to you

appreciate the offer, but $35 is more of a hit than I can bear to take, and I my reason for selling is that I got another mouse already, so I don't need another at this time. thanks though! :)

Can you do $40+Shipping? If so I'll take it.

99.99% sure the refurb store mice are the old ones, not the MM, unless they just updated them in the last week or so. Was going to buy one, but after clicking the link it was to the old BT mouse.

that depends on whether this:

is true. If the one button version is selling for $50 refurb, then I'd like to stick to my original $50 asking price. If the MM is going for $50 refurb, then $40+ shipping seems reasonable. Anyone know?

Sell it on ebay as new, opened. What do you want, I mean it is technically new, say you tested it. I've sold a few of these in the past couple weeks (sealed however) and they go for about 50-60 US + shipping. If yours goes for 45 + shipping thats already better, it's worth a shot

i've never seen the BT MM in refurb, and I check often enough that I think I would have. I'd say it's safe to assume that even if it IS $50 refurb, it's not worth lowering your price because no one can find them there anyways. That'd be like saying "well, this one guy sells MBPs for $300 brand new.. though he's never actually had one.. but you should obviously charge the same amount."

$50 shipped is a great deal for a basically like-new one. If I had the extra cash, I'd be taking it off your hands at that price.

They pop up more often than you would think. (At least lately)
They go for $49 as previously mentioned. In fact, if you go to Apple's refurb's now I think they have a BT keyboard for that price.

Well the mouse I checked at the refurb store was the older version, unless I am quite mistaken as I was looking for another to carry around with my new macbook, but after clicking the link, it was for the older bluetooth one, not the new one.

Also I did a search for "apple bluetooth mouse refurb" on google and the website came up for apple, using the cached version from april 15th, it was the regular, non MM version. http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:wY6MlToyW_4J:store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID%3Fnplm%3DF9269LL%252FA+apple+refurb+bluetooth+mouse&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=safari (http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:wY6MlToyW_4J:store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID%3Fnplm%3DF9269LL%252FA+apple+refurb+bluetooth+mouse&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=safari)

thanks, guys. I'm going to stay at my original price - $50 shipped to the first one who wants it.

sorry, I should have been clear about that. $50 shipped within the US. I'm willing to ship internationally, but to the extent that international shipping is more expensive, the cost will be higher.

It will probably go on ebay soon... but I prefer to deal with MR members. :)

I apologize for reviving this dead thread, but I thought it worth it to post the attached image since there was considerable debate about the pricing on the refurb site. Indeed, my original price quote was wrong.
