I've had this camera for about 6 months now. Great condition. It's just time for me to move onto something a little better. Great little beginner DSLR. Includes original box, manuals, everything. I will post pictures later on today.
Asking $400.
Thanks.
*EDIT* Instead of including the 18-55mm lens, I'm going to include a 1GB toshiba sd memory card.

The D50 is indeed a very nice camera, I bought one for my mother after she enjoyed using my D70 so much. The D50 has more features than the D40 (more lenses will function, auto bracketing etc), although the D40x has the advantage of 10mp (remember though, megapixel counts are highly overrated, 6 is perfectly adequate for very nice 12x18s in my experience, and for the web much less is adequate).
I'm no expert on the current market, but I did see the D50 new for as little as $400 and right now at Adorama they have refurbished (with full nikon warranty) bodies for $400.
The 18-55mm nikkor goes for about $110 new, while a 1gb SD card can be had for $10 for a dane-elec cheapo or $30 for a fast Sandisk ultra II.
I was thinking of giving my D70 to my mother when I was going to buy a D200, and I only got offers (body and 1gb sandisk ultra II) up to $350 (plus the D50 was still a current model at the time). Turns out my job situation changed for the worse though, so I'm sticking with the D70 for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'm might be trying to get just a little too much. Price dropped to $400. :)
