Hey there! I know we're not all PC users here, but my dell dimension 4600's mobo died, so I'm selling what I can to fund a new core 2 duo machine:

PM for pictures with your email (they are kind of large)

Here's what's for sale from it:
--The case including rear fan, power supply, floppy drive and cable, 2 hard drive cables, and all the screws I got out of it. The case has 2 front USB ports and one audio out in the front. Also, the case has space for 2 5.25" drives (I took the opticals out). A quick search on ebay has these going for around $50, so I'd like around 50 + shipping. I'll throw in a 40 GB western digital hard drive that Ubuntu says is only 7.2 Gb for free, if you'd like it, and I can throw in the standard black dell keyboard.

--Also, I had a 3.0 GHZ Pentium 4 socket 478 in it that I purchased from newegg about 2 months ago. It was never overclocked and it had a really nice copper and fan heat sink over it. I paid $85 for it. These are going for around 75 on ebay. So I'd like $75 shipped for it. I will also include a stock aluminum heat sink with it.

--If you want the motherboard, which does turn on, but it turns off the computer after the bios runs through, let's talk. I doubt it's worth much.

I'd be interested in trading one or both of these for a Core 2 Duo processor + cash from me.

Did you try a different power supply?

This model was known for that problem, and it was found to mainly be the power supply, not the motherboard.

Nope. Actually I didn't, but I don't have an extra power supply laying around. I might order one, since I'll need one anyways, and try it out again. I guess it'll be worth more with a working mobo.
