View Full Version : Classof2011's "Help Me Pay Off a Cruise" Sale; New stuff!

OK, so yesterday, we booked a Carnival cruise [3/17/2008-Fantasy ship] and so far, we charged the deposit to the credit card. But since there are 4 of us, and the room is the Penthouse Suite, the deposit was $815. So, my mom said I should sell stuff I don't need to pay off the deposit. So my goal from this sale is at least $815, but any extra leftover would be super, as it would pay to the big remainder of the cost.

1GB Memory Sticks [2x512MB] from a ... Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop

80GB 5400RPM Hard Drive, again from the E1505

iHome H5 "iPod Entertainment Center" . Everything on it is fine, except the dock connector is faulty. The iPod has to be held at a certain position for the iHome to find it. Other than that, it works perfect as an FM/AM radio, clock, external speakers.

Apple Airport Express base station - Hardly used, still under warranty, includes all original items [but Apple stickers :D ]. May need a new AC plug-in thing. I will call Apple and get it replaced under warranty though :o

I'm betting DDR2.

Yeah, I just did a search, and it came up with PC2-3200 RAM upgrades for it. Drat. Can't use it, never mind.

Is the xbox 360 stuff as a package or seperate? I'd be interested in one of your XBOX 360 wireless controllers.

That sounds about right. But this is PC2-4200. Still, I'm pretty sure its DDR2.

Can you give me any info on the Minolta? Is it one of the older SLRs? (I.E., an SRT-102, etc, etc...) Can you verify if it works? Lens?

Model XG-M

But I have no clue if it works, so it is AS-IS.

Is the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Dual-Port PCI Card Mac compatible? If so I would be interested so I could put it in my Performa.

:( Honestly, I do not think so. It requires Windows but does not say if it's Mac-compatible. I will check on it though!

will that ram work in a macbook?

It should, but it'll run slower than the PC2-5300 RAM that comes with it normally.

There was never a remote included as far as I know. I could check the box to see if it shows what was included.

I am not sure if there was one in the earlier models or if this is an late model or if there are various models. I know nothing. But someone on ebay is selling one for with a remote. I wondered about the remote and then I was going to see.
Lemme know.

Maybe they bought one seperate? Idk. It didn't come with a remote. I have 2 of them, one I use every day. This one's for sale since I already have one I use in a better condition. Neither, as far as I can remember, included one. This one was a Christmas present.

The white ones originally didn't come with remotes included. The black ones did, for whatever reason.

I just sold one for $25 shipped. But the deal pending on the Xbox includes the other controller, so if you really want it you'll have to wait until Friday to see if it's still available.

Thanks.

Just about to add pictures and info over 2 satellite radios; 1 XM radio and 1 Sirius Radio!

No offense, but you are very young. Where are you getting all of these things? I hope you're not just selling things without parental approval. I don't know any 13 yr old who owns two satelitte radios?? I would just be cautious in dealing with such a young teenager.

Again, no offense. I does seem like you've had very successful transactions here on the marketplace. I just wouldn't want your parents getting upset at an unaware buyer that their son or daughter is selling everything in their house without them knowing.

Don't worry; I get asked that all the time :p

Most things were like Christmas/birthday gifts, some I paid for, some I paid half/parents paid other half.

As the title says, this is to help pay off a cruise we booked. My parents booked it, and they wanted me to sell these things, with their approval, to pay off the deposit since they charged it to my mom's credit card.

The Sirius radio was a gift to my mom, but she has never had the time to get it installed. She said that if she ever decides to use a satellite radio, she would drive down to Lincoln and get it installed in her Navigator by the professionals.

The XM Radio was a Christmas present to me from a year or two ago, but I never use it. It just sat in the Navigator's "console compartment" for months. So we decided to sell it too, as to help pay off the cruise. So now I am going to post pix.

And I am 14, not 13 :D

EDIT: Here is proof of our vacation, known as the Carnival Funpass!
