View Full Version : WTB memory for Power Mac G4 & Restore CD's

Hey guys,

I teach video editing at a high school and a friend donated two G4, 400 mhz macs for editing. They're nice, although, I can certainly use more memory for editing. If anyone is willing to sell some ram for these, please let me know.

Also, does anyone have any restore cd's for these Macs? One of them has iMovie HD installed... but the computer just isn't strong enough to run it, so I'd like to restore it and at least run normal iMovie on it, unless I can find an older copy of FCP.

I've got a set of restore CDs for the powermac g4s..... $18 shipped?

It may sound prehistoric to you, and a tad bit crazy, but you might want to try an OS 9 version of FCP to gain the extra speed. I'm not sure if they made one but I think I heard in another forum that they did.
