ha, would expect anything less? Especially with the rumors on the new macs getting a 'free' version of 10.3 when it comes out in the fall.... :D

I just called the Bellevue Apple store and they said they have no idea when they will get the iSight in. So is this a webcam or a digital camera? Me thinks webcam.

I may be in the minority here but, does anyone besides myself *not* like the new case design?

I was at macrumors.com and macnn.com for the whole keynote. Allow me to be bold and say that Macnn gave a lot more info then macrumors.com

I kinda look at the "Pay for Panther?!" thing this way...

When I was a Windows user everyone said, "Upgrade to WinX, it's more stable!"

Now as a Mac user it's, "Upgrade to 10.3, it's got more neat stuff!"

I'm not a power user at all, and I'm sure theres powerful features in XP, but from all my friends and such, the non-techies, it was always, "Well, it doesnt crash as much now."

But now looking at this new Panther and it's features... wow... $100 (or whatever it'll be) doesn't sound so bad.

I need to get hold of one before I really decide but my initial reaction is that it looks like an Ikea wastebasket;)

My initial reaction is, nice inside, bad outside. One optical drive bay? Umm yeah ok, and the mesh look. The new mac looks like a trashcan like 'mute said.

I HATE the new case design, as well as the fact there is only one drive bay. I think it's cool that there's no cables to get in the way on the inside, though.

I liked those videos that those folks made on the French website about what they thought the new case would be like. That was AWESOME.
