Well, I'm thinking of selling my MacBook Pro. I upgraded it with a whole bunch of stuff so I was wondering what you guys think I should get for this. I'm selling cause I'm hoping that the Santa Rosa will have a 512MB video card, and I need it for this new job I landed. This is what my Macbook Pro is:
- MacBook Pro: 15" C2D 2.33gHz, 256MB Videocard
- 3GB of RAM
- 200GB SATA Hard Drive
- Brand new top and bottom chassis
- New keyboard replaced by Apple
- Original packaging, documentation
- Standard Applecare till 10/31/07
Honesty is greatly welcomed.

You will likely get a higher price for it on eBay than you would on here.

It really depends when you sell it, If you sell it soon, well before anything new maybe 2600 on ebay, 2200-2400 on here. after the new oens come out the amount you get will go down...
Good luck. :)

I would think more like 2400 on ebay, and 2100 on here.

I think I'm pretty close, because look at this MBP on ebay, and it was only used 4 times, but it doesn't have all the stuff yours has.

I would encourage you to go the eBay route if you can, as people pay crazy prices there. For example, I just sold a nearly 2 year old 15" 1.67MHz G4 PowerBook (2G RAM, 100MB HD, BT) that was in near perfect condition with two batteries and some assorted accessories (nothing of any real merit.)
I put a reserve of $1100, which I would have been happy with. I also put a BIN for $1250 as well. It was scheduled to close on Sunday, but some guy just used the BIN.
Amazing. You could probably buy a refurb from Apple for that (or less.)
