WTB: ibook G3 or G4

Anyone have an older ibook or mac laptop that they are looking to part with? My friend is interested in getting a mac laptop, but is only looking to spend no more than $400 max. His computing needs are pretty minimal (web surfing, word, DVD movie watching) so I figure an older ibook would do. Let me know if you have one ...

I was thinking about $450 shipped, however it is negotiable. The only problem is that I will be leaving for European tour next Tuesday for two weeks, and I'm bogged down with essay exams for finals right now. If he can wait about 3 weeks (I'm moving to a new apartment right after the Europe tour), then PM me.

I've got a G3 iBook -- well, it's my wife's ever since I got my iMac -- and we were thinking of parting with it for an upgrade. It's maxed out in RAM and it's got a 6-month-old battery. In fact, it's in great condition, save for one stuck pixel it came with when new.

Where are you located, what sort of time frame were you entertaining, and what sort of price offer could your friend make?

EDIT: My specs: 500MHz G3 (white dual USB model w/ Firewire), Airport card, 10GB HDD, 12" screen. MacBass' model is a lot better than mine.

I've also got an iBook I'm looking to sell. It's an iBook G4 800MHz. Purchased as a certified refurb from the Apple Store but works perfectly and is still in very good condition. It has 1.128GB of RAM, AirPort card, combo drive, 60GB HD, and all the original discs that it came with. I'd like about $400 for it. I'm in NYC, so if you're close, pick up is fine... Thanks!
