I am selling my Power Mac G5 Dual 1.8GHz. This is the original Dual 1.8 model with the 8 RAM slots and PCI-X slots. The RAM has been upgraded to 1.5GB (2x256 and 2x512) with four open RAM slots remaining. Two hard drives - one 160GB and one 320GB for a total of 480GB. SuperDrive has been upgraded to a Pioneer 16X DVD Dual-Layer drive (the original Sony 4X drive can also be included). It also has an internal Apple Bluetooth module. Everything else is stock. It is covered under AppleCare until 7/03/07.
This is a beautiful system that has been very well cared for. It is my first Mac, and I have absolutely loved it. I am selling it for two reasons - First, I recently bought a MacBook Pro for portability that I have been using as my main computer and have not been using the PowerMac as much as it deserves. Second, I am moving soon and will not have a dedicated office where I can keep this beauty.
Included are: box, Apple keyboard, Apple mouse, power cable, manuals, and the original restore disks. I will also include a retail version of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and a retail version of iLife '06. I will do a fresh install of Tiger so it will be ready to go.
Asking $1240 Shipped. I am in Milwaukee if you are interested in picking-up (Delivery to Chicago area could also be arranged).
