OK, I'm looking to sell my iMac as I just don't use it anymore as I spend all my time with my MacBook. Question is what sort of price should I be looking to get for it (£) ?

I would have thought somewhere between £750 - £850, maybe more if it has any remaining warranty or Applecare.
