WTB iMac G3 Tray Load CD

well in trying to make something better, I actually damaged the PC board connected to the back of a G3 iMac Tray Load CD rom.

Anyone have a CD drive, with included PC adapter board, or just the PC adapter board they would sell?

How much? i have an iMac G3 that's just sitting around. To save shipping I guess I could take it apart...

I see on Ebay complete CD drives sell for $10-30, but I merely need the PC board.

Would $10-12 shipped USPS for the board be fair? Its more of a donation project than anything else and shipping a complete G3 iMac is not easily done.

If i can figure it out without ruining it I'll do it for $15.
What exactly is the PC board?? Motherboard?? Any identification I can tell on it?

But it does require the motherboard / HD tray assembly be removed. If you have done it before its easy (3-5min), if not, then it will take a couple more to learn how to pull the tray out.

It is just a .5 inch by 3 inch long board which attached on the rear of the slimline Tray load CD drive.

Ok, i'll give it a shot. I probably won't ship it until Monday or Tuesday because I have to work tomorrow. I'll dismantle on Sunday I hope. Look for any HELP messages, lol.
