Hey all, i have a powermac g4 cube that i am parting out. I have most of the parts left, i think the only pieces i have sold so far are the VRM and power supply, everything else is still available. Accepting paypal or trades for misc things. Make me an offer.

Why did you "part it out"?

I needed to make a lil extra cash to get my iphone in june. I figured id be able to market the stuff better here than on ebay etc.

Do you have the lucite case for the cube? I have two cubes sans case and would love to have one.

Was is the CPU speed? And how much do you want for the RAM?

the CPU was 450 mhz, i have two sticks of 512 mb and several 256s that id let go. Make me an offer.

I would prefer to trade for the case (Unless you only wnt like $50 for it,in which case I would just pay), need anything in particular? I've got a fairly large pile of various mac things.

A couple of B&W G3's
A 60gb Laptop HD
A couple ATA Drives (nothing over 20-30gb)
LOTS of pc100/133 RAM
Various PCI cards

I will have to have a closer look when I get home from work, but those are the big items I can remember off the top of my head.

LOTS of pc100/133 RAM
Various PCI cards

I will have to have a closer look when I get home from work, but those are the big items I can remember off the top of my head.

i dont know if im quit interested in any of the stuff you have listed, i have a couple of b&ws, dont really need hard drives, i have tons of pc100/133. Let me know what the pci cards are, but i dont know for sure if ill be interested, im prolly lookin for more peripheral stuff.

Film/slide scanners?
USB -> optical audio?

I've got more stuff than I know what to do with, if you had any particular interests it would help...hard to just keep listing stuff up in the air. What would you want cash wise for it?

Eh, not to be rude, but forget it then. If you come up with a price, drop me a line, as I am all for it, but it's just too hard to beat around the bush for a case. As rare as they are, I am sure another can turn up...

Hey ReanimationLP turned me on to your thread and I just realized I DO need a powerbutton for the Cube IF YOURS WORKS. Mine smokes. Let me know as my Cube is in the shop now. Also, how old is your internal battery?

the power button on mine works so far as i can tell, it was last used like 3 months ago and had no problems, the touch sensetivity was just fine. i honestly do not know how old the internal battery is. I think it could be the original one. I do know that you can pick them up at radio shack for like $5 or so.

would 20 shipped be too much, i believe i payed 25 when i bought one...
if you have someting of similar value would go for that as a trade as well

Hey Everyone,
i just sold the cube motherboard to another user here on macrumors. I still have plenty of parts avaliable. I have a nice exterior case available, the heatsink, dvd rom drive, video card, frame and other. I also have 256 mb sticks of ram if you are interested in those. all offers considered, i am interested in cash or peripherals.
