What? Atom Films is still around? I was surprised too. However, they have some sort of Star Wars Fan Film Contest going on and here's one that I thought was really funny.

The premise is: what if a Valley girl was a pilot in Star Wars?

Hmm, it wasn't bad. The problem is it was kind of a one joke thing and got kind of old. But it was short enough to keep it from putting me to sleep. One of the better things I have seen on atom Films.

May the Force be with you...

It was kind of one-note in a lot of ways and it dragged a bit after a while, but I still thought some of the stuff about "the fat guy" hitting on her and R2 was pretty funny. I was thinking that if it was half the length it might have been better.

Sorta funny but also cliche.

Oh well, It certainly wasn't bad.

It might help if I knew anything at all about Starwars. :p

to make it concise: no.

StarWars has never appealed to me.

Never have gotten through any of 'em except the latest 2 which weren't good (but don't reprisent StarWars as a whole very well).

I don't know. They just aren't my kind of movie.

Ep 1 and 2 weren't good. I'm not exactly a SciFi geek, but I have seen Star Wars. And Empire Strikes Back was a GREAT movie. Return of the Jedi was pretty good. Better that Phantom Menace.

Since you haven't seen them, how do you know if your not going to like them?

Go rent the trilogy this weekend. Seriously. Go.

I just tried to watch it and it gave me a 404 error. Might try it again later. It also told me that I had to use RealPlayer because I don't have WiMP or QT installed (I have both)
