Hi Guys
Looking to buy 512MB or 1GB RAM for 15" PB 1.5GHZ model.
Does not need to be new but needs to work.
Shipping would be to Vancouver BC Canada , I would deal with any border issues.
Just looking to see if anyone has any laying around.
I know I have tons of RAM around the house I dont use but none that fits the 15" PB.
Oh payment would be through PayPal, cash or certified cheque, I don't do money transfers.
Thanks

I have 2 sticks of 512 from that very computer. If someone comes up with some 1GB chips to trade with me in my Wii thread you are certainly welcome to one or both. I'll keep you posted.

I have 2x256 sticks of ram from my Macbook. It's practically brand new, Apple ram. I only used it maybe a week until my 2gb came.
Im not sure if they will fit your powerbook, but if your interested, please, PM me.
EDIT: I'm dont think it will work, as my ram is DDR2, and yours is DDR. If I'm wrong though, let me know.

I already have one 512Mb stick in it with a 256mb. I want to replace the 256 with either a 512 or 1gb .
preferably a 1gb but open to other options.

You should specify which RAM. The LATER generation 1.5 GHz machines needed PC4200 SO-DIMMs and the older ones used PC2700 SO-DIMMs.
You can go up the the apple on the upper left, and choose "About This Mac." Then click on "More Info." Then on the left you can choose "Memory" under Hardware. Tell us what the Type and Speed is. (333 MHz is PC2700 and 533 MHz is PC4200.)
I've got a 512MB stick of PC4200 if that's what you need. Let me know if you're interested.

I need the DDR PC2700 one .
I thought it was pretty clear from the 1.5ghz that it was not the last rev.

Nope. The only DDR2 unit was 1.67 GHz

Alright, alright. Hold your horses. I stand corrected. Thought the last rev included 1.5's.

I'm shopping for a 1 gig stick too... If you can't find it from anyone... Newegg has a gig stick for 79 bucks (PNY Memory).
